"Metallic Driftwood" Jacobean Sideboard

This extremely rare solid wood antique Jacobean Sideboard dates back to the 1900's and with its carvings has always been pretty. BUT, after our extensive REHAB the details have come to life and it is drop dead GORGEOUS. We started with sanding down this piece to the raw wood and than adding a driftwood gray wash. Handed painted black details and blending techniques have been added throughout to create depth. The final layer includes a dry brush metallic silver with very tiny hints of gold. Finally, what makes this piece so UNIQUE is the storage component. The left side door is a cabinet countertop style that drops down to reveal 3 shallow drawers. The right side is a pull out style drawer that is 12 inches tall. The combination of antique carved details with the driftwood and shiny metallic creates a "modern marries rustic" style . Please note that the color of this piece can vary depending on how dark or light it is in the room. It may look more gray in some lighting or more brown in others. We have added a picture to show the gray appearance it may have. However, it is a very NEUTRAL piece that will match many different decors and will make a BIG statement in any entryway, diningroom, livingroom, kitchen cafe, office or business space.
